§ 01 — How it works

The Process

We check your file for resolution at final size, bleed, and CMYK accuracy. Large format has different resolution requirements — we'll advise.

Your file is processed through a Raster Image Processor that optimises colour and resolution for the wide-format printer.

Your artwork is printed on our wide-format printer at up to 1500mm wide. Consistent colour from edge to edge, roll to roll.

Options include guillotine trim, grommets, hem tape, lamination (gloss, matte, or satin), and mounting to foam board or aluminium.

§ 02 — File requirements

File format	PDF (print-ready) or high-res TIFF. Avoid JPEG for large format — compression artefacts become visible at scale.
Colour mode	CMYK. Convert from RGB before supplying — we cannot guarantee accurate colour conversion from RGB.
Resolution	100–150 dpi at final output size. For viewing at close range (under 1m), supply 200 dpi.
Bleed	5mm on all sides (10mm for banner material with hem/grommets)
Max width	1500mm (1.5m). Length is limited only by roll size — ask us for very long prints.
Min width	300mm
Media options	Coated photo paper, backlit film, vinyl banner, canvas, fabric, adhesive vinyl, foam board — ask for current media list
Finishing	Lamination (gloss / matte / satin), grommets, hem tape, trimming, foam board mount, aluminium dibond

For very large installations or complex media, we recommend a test strip before the full print. Contact us to discuss your project.
